Terms of Service

Last updated: June 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing achoord.com, downloading, installing, or using Achoord software, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the site or software. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated versions published on this page.

2. What Achoord is

Achoord is automation and orchestration software for workflows, dashboards, variables, schedules, credentials, dynamic tables, file storage, integrations (such as WhatsApp, Telegram, HTTP, SMTP, SSH, and others), and team collaboration, organized into workspaces and projects.

The Achoord project provides software for self-hosting and maintains an institutional website about the product. We do not offer registration, login, or a centralized cloud service operated by us, and we do not collect user information.

3. Institutional website (achoord.com)

The site is informational and public. You may browse without creating an account, identifying yourself, or providing personal data to Achoord.

By using the site, you agree to:

  • Use it only for lawful purposes;
  • Not attempt to compromise the site’s security, availability, or integrity;
  • Not reproduce site content in ways that violate intellectual property rights.

External links on the site (such as Stripe for donations) lead to third-party services governed by their own terms and policies.

4. Self-hosted software

Achoord is installed on infrastructure chosen by you or your organization (VPS, local server, cloud, and others). The Achoord project does not operate or administer those instances and does not receive data generated on them.

Whoever installs the software is responsible for:

  • Infrastructure, backups, updates, and environment security;
  • Creating and managing local accounts, teams, permissions, and credentials;
  • Content, workflows, integrations, and data processed on the instance;
  • Compliance with applicable laws, including privacy and communications regulations;
  • Support for end users of that instance.

Any accounts, passwords, and registrations on the platform belong to the self-hosted environment and are solely the installer administrator’s responsibility.

5. Software license

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use Achoord software under the project license and applicable law.

You may:

  • Install and run the software in your own environment;
  • Use product features for legitimate personal, commercial, or organizational purposes;
  • Configure external integrations under your responsibility.

Unless expressly authorized, you may not:

  • Use the software for illegal, fraudulent activities or activities that violate third-party rights;
  • Send spam, malicious content, or material that violates integrated platform policies;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or improperly redistribute the software;
  • Resell or sublicense the software as a managed service in the name of the Achoord project.

6. Content and integrations

Workflows, dashboards, files, credentials, and other content created on a self-hosted instance remain under the control of whoever administers that environment.

Integrations with third-party services (APIs, messaging, payments, OAuth, and others) are configured locally. Achoord does not control or take responsibility for those services’ availability, changes, or conduct.

When configuring integrations, the instance administrator assumes the risks and obligations of sending data to the chosen services.

7. Donations and project support

Voluntary donations via PIX, Stripe, or other means support open-source development. Unless expressly stated otherwise, donations do not purchase a plan, SLA, managed hosting, or priority support.

Payments are processed by third parties. Refunds follow the payment method rules and applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

Achoord, including brand, interface, code, documentation, and site materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the software or brand, except for the license described above.

Suggestions or feedback sent voluntarily may be used to improve the product without compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Availability and changes

The institutional website and software may be changed, updated, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted site operation or error-free software.

On self-hosted installations, availability, maintenance, and continuity depend solely on whoever administers the infrastructure.

10. Limitation of liability

The software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Achoord project is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or losses arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the site or software;
  • Content, integrations, or configurations on self-hosted instances;
  • Third-party failures, including cloud providers, APIs, and messaging;
  • Force majeure or fortuitous events.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount of the last identifiable donation to the project, when applicable.

11. No centralized contractual relationship

Because there is no registration or managed service operated by the Achoord project, there is no SaaS contractual relationship between you and us from using a self-hosted instance. Questions about accounts, access, data, or operational support must be handled with the corresponding instance administrator.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of São Bernardo do Campo/SP are elected, with waiver of any other venue, to resolve disputes arising from these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. The last update date appears at the top of this page. We recommend checking this page occasionally. Continued use of the site or software after changes are published implies acceptance.
